Time left to vote: calculating…
Voting online, step by step
- Find your email. Look for the email sent to you on behalf of TICA by YesElections. Check your spam or junk folder if you cannot see it.
- Click your personal link. The link in that email is unique to you. It takes you to the voting site.
- Follow the on-screen instructions. The online ballot shows details about each item, so you can review them before you vote.
- Do not share the link or the email. It is yours alone. If the first link does not work, the same email includes a second link to try.
Who can help
Is the ballot secure?
Your vote is run by an outside election company, not by any candidate and not by TICA Forward.
TICA has hired YesElections, a company that runs online and mailed elections for associations, to run this ballot. The email you receive says it is sent "by YesElections for The International Cat Association, Inc." TICA Forward has no part in running the ballot.
Here is what YesElections says about how its system works, on its own website:
- One vote per member. The system allows only one vote to be recorded for each member.
- Your vote is separated from you. Once a vote has been processed, there is no way to associate it with the person who cast it.
- An audit trail. The system can show that a member has voted, but not how they voted.
- Your data stays private. YesElections says it never shares a member list with third parties and destroys the voter file after the election.
- Track record. YesElections says it has used the same voting system continuously since 2003.

Staying safe. Only vote through the link in your own email. TICA Forward will never ask you for your voting link, and you should never forward it to anyone. If anything about your email looks wrong, contact the TICA ballot office before you vote.
